OREANDA-NEWS  The Japanese carmaker Isuzu left Russia and transferred shares of the Russian subsidiary of the company "Sollers". This is reported by RIA Novosti with reference to the Kyodo agency.

It is noted that the plant, which employs about 200 people, was transferred to Sollers. Production was suspended in March 2022 due to problems with the supply of parts against the background of the Ukrainian conflict.

According to the agency, the reason for the carmaker's departure from Russia is the lack of prospects for its resumption.

Earlier it became known that an official dealership of the Japanese automaker Honda has opened in St. Petersburg. Deliveries and warranty support of cars will be provided by the Motor-Place subdistributor. In addition to the St. Petersburg center, the company will have two more salons in Moscow. Currently, eight Honda models are available for purchase: Civic and Accord sedans, CR-V crossovers of the 5th and 6th generations, RV, RV, Vezel and Odyssey minivan.
