"The government has expanded the list of car brands and models approved for use as a taxi. The order about it is under signature. We are talking about one car, the Jetour X70PLUS. This is a Chinese—brand car that is assembled in Russia under a special investment contract (SPIC) and has a high level of production localization," the statement said.
In March 2026, the Haval F7, Haval F7x, Haval Jolion, Tenet T7 were added to the list of cars that can work as a taxi, and in May the Omoda C5 was added there. The list includes 27 brands, including Lada, Sollers, Evolve, Voyah, Moskvich, UMO, Haval, Tenet.
