OREANDA-NEWS The cost of the updated Aurus sedan will increase by 10 million rubles, and its market debut will take place no earlier than 2027, the Telegram channel Mash writes. According to the source, a significant increase in price is associated with the modernization of the car's platform.

Currently, the assembly of luxury models at the site in the Alabuga special economic zone has been suspended. This is due to preparations for the release of restyled versions. The developers plan to upgrade the body and equip the car with more modern components.

The main changes will affect the exterior of the car. Experts promise the installation of advanced lighting equipment and the use of future-generation technologies in the interior. Pinpoint improvements to the power unit and on-board electronics are not excluded.

The updated vehicles are scheduled to be released in 2027. The starting price of the car will range from 55 to 58 million rubles. Currently, the car can be purchased for about 48 million.

Until the restyled version is launched, the company will continue to assemble cars, but exclusively for individual customer orders. The average waiting time will be about six months. The exception will be cars with a 2025 body — their production period will not exceed four months.
