The Russian football team was involved in an accident

OREANDA-NEWS In the Ivanovo region, there was a traffic accident involving a tourist bus carrying the Fakel football team from Kirov. This is reported by TASS.
The bus collided with a MAZ truck, the bus driver was injured, the football players were not injured. The accident occurred near the village of Komarovo, Zavolzhsky district (Mezhdurechenskoye rural settlement). It was established on the spot that a Hyundai double-decker tourist bus collided with a MAZ truck.
According to the preliminary version, the bus driver drove into the oncoming lane, where a head-on collision with a truck occurred. After the impact, the bus slid into a ditch.
The bus driver, a 45-year-old man, suffered an elbow injury. He received medical treatment on the spot, but refused to be hospitalized. The passengers of the bus, the football players of the Fakel team, were not injured. The truck driver was also not injured.
No fuel spill was recorded at the scene. Six employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and two pieces of equipment were involved in the elimination of the consequences of the accident.
The prosecutor's office of the Zavolzhsky district has taken control of the establishment of the circumstances of the accident and is conducting an inspection.
