The start of sales of the updated Lada Vesta will be postponed

OREANDA-NEWS Dealers will not be able to start selling the updated Lada Vesta car in May, as promised by the management of AvtoVAZ.
One of the federal dealers of the brand notes that the company does not talk about this directly, but in reality the start of sales will be postponed to June, customers will not be able to pick up cars earlier. Another major regional seller confirmed this information, according to him, the salons are thinking about starting sales no earlier than June, although deliveries to the salons may begin in May.
In turn, the representative of the association "Russian Car Dealers", pointed out that, as a rule, the first issues to customers occur months after dealers receive cars. A representative of AvtoVAZ in a comment to the publication said that shipments of Vesta will begin in May.
The restart of production of Lada Vesta NG (New Generation) took place on March 3. Maxim Sokolov, the president of the automaker, claimed that sales would begin in May, when the plant and dealers would have a certain stock of cars.
An additional complication will be the postponement of the start of the company's three-week corporate vacation from July 24 to May 29. As a reason, the company's management called the shortage of some components, the supply of which was stopped contrary to contracts. As a result, the production of complete cars will be impossible from the second half of the month.
