OREANDA-NEWS  The Moscow-based Akzo Nobel Paint company is asking the court to terminate the legal protection in Russia of the AN and AN trademarks owned by the Ukrainian state-owned Antonov airline, according to materials reviewed by RIA Novosti.

The signs were registered by Rospatent in the name of a Ukrainian company back in 1994-1995.

They apply to two classes of goods such as airplanes, hang gliders, airships, gliders, and scaled-down models of vehicles, and to three classes of services such as aircraft repair and maintenance, air transportation, engineering design (drawing) work, and engineering developments.
