OREANDA-NEWS In the Sakhalin region, a fire occurred on a fishing vessel off the coast of Shikotan Island. This was reported in the marine coordination and rescue sub-center of Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, TASS reports.
Previously, the crew members were not injured. The Ministry of Emergency Situations, in turn, clarified that the fire spread on the ship "Olkhovatka" on an area of 24 square meters. The cause of the fire is being established, it has already been eliminated.
In August, there was a fire on the dry cargo ship Terskiy Bereg in Arkhangelsk. The fire was given a higher rank. The fire broke out on the Maymaksan highway, where the trawl fleet is located, which has a loading dock.
