OREANDA-NEWS The movement of trucks on the Crimean Bridge will not be launched yet because of possible provocations. According to Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin, this issue was discussed, and the launch was even in the plans. But now they have decided not to do this, because "there are constant attempts of provocations and influence on the Crimean Bridge." Moreover, there is no way to miss even empty trucks. A "guaranteed land corridor" through the new regions and the Kerch Ferry crossing is maintained for the movement of cargo transport.

After the explosion on the Crimean Bridge on October 8, 2022, trucks were allowed to drive on the bridge almost a week later, but in December they were banned again for security reasons. In March, Khusnullin admitted at a meeting with the president that small or empty trucks could be allowed on the bridge, provided that all of them would pass inspection before that. Putin approved this decision. But now the authorities have determined that the time has not yet come.
