A European politician linked to Epstein tried to commit suicide

OREANDA-NEWS Former Norwegian Secretary General and ex-Prime Minister Thorbjorn Jagland was hospitalized on February 17 after attempting suicide amid an investigation into his ties to controversial financier Jeffrey Epstein. This is reported by the Norwegian portal iNyheter, citing sources.
"Former Prime Minister Thorbjorn Jagland was hospitalized a week ago," the statement said.
According to the portal's interlocutor, the politician's health condition is assessed as severe. At the same time, the source refused to provide information about the medical facility where Jagland is located.
Earlier, the Council of Europe lifted diplomatic immunity from Jagland, who is being investigated on suspicion of corruption and ties to Epstein. It is believed that the official stayed at Epstein's residence in New York in 2018, as well as in Paris in 2015 and 2018.
