A huge fish weighing 300 kilograms was caught in the river

OREANDA-NEWS In the Indian state of Odisha, a huge stingray was caught in a river. This is reported by the Odisha Bytes publication.
The fish, usually found in deeper sea waters, became entangled in nets in the Devi River. It took 20 fishermen two hours of coordinated work to pull her ashore. The fish was over 3.5 meters long and weighed about 300 kilograms.
The fishermen estimated the cost of meat at 200 rupees (180 rubles) per kilogram and expected to get about 60 thousand rupees (55 thousand rubles) for it. As a result, the skate was sold to a private buyer from West Bengal.
