OREANDA-NEWS  Ilham Aliyev spoke about what will happen to Azerbaijan's relations with Armenia if the current prime Minister of the neighboring republic, Nikol Pashinyan, loses the elections or is overthrown. His words in an interview with Al Arabiya are published by the Azertag agency.

"If there is a strong external interference, then yes, we may think that this may violate previously agreed issues. But it would greatly harm Armenia itself," Aliyev said.

The Azerbaijani leader notes that if "something happens" in Armenia and the authorities withdraw from the agreement signed in Washington with the mediation of US President Donald Trump, it will worsen Yerevan's relations with both Baku and Washington.

Aliyev also notes that violating the agreement signed in Washington would mean going against the whole world. Armenia receives from him a guarantee of peace and stable development, concludes the President of Azerbaijan.

Earlier, Ilham Aliyev said that if Armenia rejects the agreements reached in the United States on respect for territorial integrity, Azerbaijan will respond symmetrically.
