OREANDA-NEWS   The Tagansky court of Moscow fined Amazon 3 million rubles for refusing to remove prohibited content, RIA Novosti correspondent reports from the courtroom.

"Recognize the company Amazon.com If guilty ... impose an administrative penalty in the form of an administrative fine in the amount of 3 million rubles," the judge announced the decision.

The court found that the company had violated Part 2 of Article 13.41 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation (failure by the owner of the website or the owner of an information resource on the Internet to delete information or an Internet page if the obligation to delete such information or an Internet page is provided for by the legislation of the Russian Federation).
