OREANDA-NEWS  The construction and reconstruction of at least 75 airfields and 19 more terminals at airports is planned in Russia by 2030, said Deputy Prime Minister Vitaly Saveliev.

"In accordance with the instructions of the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin, we plan to reconstruct and build at least 75 airfields by 2030," Saveliev said at a meeting with Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.

He continued that in March 2025, as part of the national project "Efficient Transport System", Sberbank and the Federal Air Transport Agency signed the first federal concession agreement for the reconstruction of the Gorno-Altaysk airport.
A total of 28 concessions are planned to be implemented by 2030.

The comfort of passengers during travel, the Deputy Prime Minister noted, largely depends on the airport complexes.
"Last year, eight new passenger terminals were commissioned at Novokuznetsk, Mineralnye Vody, Tyumen, Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, Yoshkar-Ola, Izhevsk, Murmansk and Khabarovsk airports. We plan to build and reconstruct 19 more terminals by 2030," Saveliev said.
