OREANDA-NEWS  Rospotrebnadzor reported that batches of Nestle's NAN 1 OPTIPRO infant formula, which contained cereulide toxin, were blocked and were not shipped to Russia.

Since December 10, Nestle has been withdrawing from European markets some of its products of certain batches of dry instant milk formulas produced in Nestle Nederland b.v. The Netherlands, due to the discovery of cereulide toxin, the press service of the department said.

Rospotrebnadzor also reported that Nestle Group of companies Nestle Russia LLC "is taking preventive measures and voluntarily blocks and withdraws the following batches of infant formula from the Russian market," namely NAN 1 OPTIPRO with oligosaccharides 2'FL Glass jar 400, date of manufacture 22.10.2025, expiration date 22.10.2027, batch 52950346AA; NAN 1 OPTIPRO with oligosaccharides 2'F Glass jar 800 g., date of manufacture 21.10.2025, expiration date 21.10.2027, batch 52940346AB; NAN 1 OPTIPRO with oligosaccharides 2'FL tin can 800 g., date of manufacture 10/21/2025, expiration date 10/31/2027, batch 52940346AA; NAN 1 OPTIPRO with oligosaccharides 2'FL Cardboard box weighing 1,050 with two inserts, date of manufacture 10/21/2025, expiration date 04/14/2027, batch 52940346BA; NAN 1 OPTIPRO with oligosaccharides 2'FL cardboard box weighing 1 050 with two inserts, date of manufacture 22.10.2025, expiration date 15.04.2027, batch 52950346VA.

"In order to protect health, Rospotrebnadzor recommends that you do not purchase or consume the above products and take this information into account when planning travel to foreign countries," the agency stressed.
