OREANDA-NEWS  China has condemned the US military operation against Venezuela. The events in the republic have attracted significant international attention, said Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi, RIA Novosti reports.

According to him, no country should act as an international police force. Continuing the topic of Washington's attack on Caracas, the diplomat noted China's disagreement that "any country can claim to be an international judge."

Wang Yi clarified that the current international situation is becoming more complex and unstable, and the sovereignty and security of all countries must be fully protected by international law. "We consistently oppose the use or threat of force in international relations and the imposition of the will of one country on another," the Foreign minister stressed.
