This was stated by Kirill Dmitriev, special representative of the President of Russia for investment and economic cooperation with foreign countries, on the social network X.
"Hardworking Ursula and Kaya are destroying the EU industry together," he wrote, attaching European statistics to the publication.
According to statistics, Europe has lost 9 percent of its chemical production capacity since 2022. Production capacity in Germany decreased by 25%, in the Netherlands — by 20%. The UK's figures fell by 12 percent, France's by 10%, and Italy's by 7%. In total, about 20,000 people lost their jobs.
Earlier, former German Foreign Minister Joschka Fischer supported the idea of nuclear rearmament of European countries. In his opinion, Germany will make a serious mistake by considering the nuclear issue as a national problem. He noted that the state needs European partners.
