OREANDA-NEWS  France and Italy have entered into negotiations with Iran to ensure the safe passage of their vessels through the Strait of Hormuz. This is reported by the Financial Times.

Earlier, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmail Bagai said that the passage of ships through the Strait of Hormuz should be coordinated with the Iranian naval forces. He noted that the insecurity created by the United States and Israel in the region could negatively affect the movement of ships, but Tehran does not want the Strait of Hormuz to be unsafe.
