OREANDA-NEWS  Hungary will withdraw from the agreement on the International Criminal Court (ICC). This was announced by the head of the Hungarian Prime Minister's office, Gergei Guyash, against the background of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's visit to Budapest, Reuters reports.

"The Hungarian government will initiate the procedure for withdrawing from the agreement on Thursday, April 3, in accordance with constitutional and international legal norms. Previously, the ICC was a respected institution, but recently it has become a political body, and the indictment against Prime Minister Netanyahu is the saddest example. We consider such a situation unacceptable," the politician said.
