OREANDA-NEWS  A Finnish court has sentenced three Polish citizens to two years in prison for blowing up ATMs in Finland and stealing about 250,000 euros from them, broadcaster Yle reported on Thursday.

"The Oulu District Court has sentenced three Poles to just over two years in prison for aggravated theft," the statement said.

According to Yle, the sentences are related to a series of ATM bombings in western Finland, which the men staged in late 2024 and early this year. They stole about 250 thousand euros, and about 146 thousand euros have not yet been found.

According to the prosecutor's office, the men arrived in Finland to commit property crimes. They pleaded guilty in court, and the sentence was commuted. The court also ordered them to pay damages.
