OREANDA-NEWS   The Iranian military reported a strike on the facilities of the Israeli company Rafael, which manufactures weapons.

"The targets of the attacks were the centers of <...> Rafael, as well as the aviation industry <...> Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI)," reads a statement released by the Mehr news agency.

The first company develops air defense systems, the second produces military aircraft.

The US and Israeli operation against the Islamic Republic is in its third week. All this time, the parties are exchanging blows. In Tel Aviv, they called their goal to prevent Tehran from obtaining nuclear weapons. Washington threatened to destroy the country's military potential and called on citizens to overthrow the regime. Iran has stressed that it is ready to defend itself and so far sees no point in resuming negotiations.
