OREANDA-NEWS  President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko has named the grounds for the possible use of the Russian Oreshnik short-range tactical complex deployed in the republic, BelTA has learned.

"I'm not saying that tomorrow we will bang this "Oreshnik " in Vilnius, Warsaw or Kiev. God forbid. This is not our task. We need to protect our country. And so that the "Hazel Tree" does not crash, you do not interfere with us. Neither from Ukraine, nor from Poland, nor from Lithuania, nor from Latvia. Let's solve the issues in a human way," he said.

"Do you think that if they consider objects on the territory of Belarus to be a legitimate target, I will sleep and watch. I can do 70 km, 200 km. We have something to get. Therefore, I would advise them not to rattle their tongues and not to blurt it out," the president stressed.

He also noted that the Oreshnik is a mobile weapon.

"A dozen false targets. That is, there will be 10 cars on the route. We looked from above - ten "Oreshnik ". And he will be alone. Therefore, there is always an antidote for any poison," Lukashenko explained.

Earlier, Lukashenko said that since December 17, 2025, the Oreshnik has been in Belarus and has entered combat duty.
