NATO military exercises have begun in the Scandinavian region

OREANDA-NEWS The NATO Nordic Response 2024 military exercises have begun in the Scandinavian region, which will involve the armed forces of Norway, Sweden and Finland.
It is assumed that military exercises until March 14 will be held in northern Norway, as well as in Sweden and Finland. About 20,000 military personnel, over 50 ships and 100 aircraft are to take part in them. The Nordic Response is part of the larger military exercise Steadfast Defender 2024, which targets Russia.
Earlier, the head of the NATO military Committee, Admiral Rob Bauer, admitted that the largest Steadfast Defender 2024 exercises in the last few years are dedicated to preparing for a potential conflict between Russia and NATO. This is what most of the training tasks and exercises of the participants of the exercises are aimed at.
