OREANDA-NEWS. Russia is always ready for dialogue and good relations with Great Britain, but does not remember London’s steps in this direction. This was announced on Thursday by the press secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov.

"Russian President Vladimir Putin always speaks of his readiness for dialogue with everyone in the name of establishing good relations based on the principles of mutual respect and mutual benefit. The same approach applies to our vision of Russian-British relations", said Dmitry Peskov.

“As for any initiatives by Mr. British Prime Minister Boris Johnson to normalize relations, I cannot recall those at the moment”, a Kremlin spokesman said. He noted: "At the same time, only his Johnson’s very unfriendly and sometimes harsh and non-diplomatic statements to the address of our country and to the leadership of our country come to mind. This really remains in my memory". He also noted the positive business relations of both countries.
