OREANDA-NEWS  The first meeting of the "Peace Council" on Gas, which was attended by a delegation from Vietnam, is far from the main topic of talks between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Vietnamese Foreign Minister Le Hoai Chung, Russian Presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.

"This is far from the main topic. The fact is that today's guest is coming in his capacity as special chairman of the General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam," Peskov said on Channel One, answering a question about whether the Peace Council would be discussed at Putin's meeting with the Vietnamese Foreign Minister.
