OREANDA-NEWS   The Iranian naval forces, which were virtually completely destroyed by US strikes during Operation Epic Fury, were not ready to wage a real war, as they were a ceremonial fleet and a tool of diplomacy, Vzglyad writes.

The publication recalls that the military potential of the Iranian Navy as a result of the US strikes was virtually reset in a few days without significant losses on the American side. Vzglyad analyzed the period of development of the Iranian Navy preceding Epic Fury and came to the conclusion that the characteristics and capabilities of the warships claimed by the Iranian side did not correspond to reality.

"His fleet remained a ritual attribute of power until the very end, and not a means of warfare. He was suitable for parades, flag demonstrations, long—distance hikes and patriotic TV shows, but he could not fight," the newspaper writes, concluding that the observed finale of the Iranian Navy is natural.
