OREANDA-NEWS  Dmitry Patrushev, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, said in his congratulations on Geologist's Day that the presence of approximately 230 types of minerals in Russia allows the country to become one of the world leaders in reserves of natural gas, diamonds, gold, nickel and coal.

Geologist's Day is celebrated in Russia annually on the first Sunday of April.
