Russians were not allowed to compete in team competitions at the 2026 Olympics

OREANDA-NEWS Russian athletes at the Winter Olympics in Milan and Cortina d'Ampezzo in 2026 will compete on the same terms as at the 2026 Summer Games in Paris. This is stated in the IOC statement.
Russian and Belarusian athletes will participate in the competitions in Italy as individual neutral athletes. Their performance in team disciplines is excluded.
15 Russians competed at the Olympic Games in Paris, all under a neutral flag. They managed to win one medal: tennis players Mirra Andreeva and Diana Schneider won silver in the women's doubles.
The 2026 Olympics will be held from 6 to 22 February.
