OREANDA-NEWSThe former head of the Odessa region and ex-president of Georgia Mikhail Saakashvili agreed with the proposal of the President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky to take the post of Deputy Prime Minister for Reform in the Government of Denis Shmygal.

“I accepted President Zelensky’s proposal”, he said Friday before meeting with members of the Servant of the People faction. At the same time, Saakashvili said that Zelensky instructed him to "engage in negotiations with the IMF", since Ukraine had a "catastrophic situation in the economy".

Recall, the ex-president of Georgia Mikheil Saakashvili said that the Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky offered him the post of deputy prime minister for reform in the Ukrainian government.
