OREANDA-NEWS Europe is under stress and fear, and serious companies are leaving the region due to the loss of competitiveness by the European Union. This was stated by the Prime Minister of Slovakia Robert Fico on the social network Facebook (a social network banned in Russia; owned by the Meta corporation, which is recognized in the Russian Federation as extremist and banned).

According to Fico, some prime ministers talked about which serious firms had left their territory, how many percentages had been lost in the chemical industry and other industries.

The politician stressed that the European Commission will have to present its proposals on improving the competitiveness of the European Union at the summit in March.

Earlier it became known that the Russian hotel chain Azimut Hotels will open two hotels in Israel. The company withdrew from the European market in 2023.
