OREANDA-NEWS  Seven soldiers of the Serbian army were injured in riots on Thursday night, the Tanjug news agency reports.

Serbian President Alesander Vucic said on Thursday night that more than 60 citizens and 16 police officers were injured during riots in Serbia near the offices of the Serbian Progressive Party (SPP) in Novi Sad and other cities. At night, the protesters and supporters of the ruling party dispersed from the scene of the incidents.

"The director of the Military Security Agency (military Counterintelligence - ed.), Colonel-General Juro Jovanic, said that seven Serbian army soldiers were injured during the riots at night, four of whom were seriously injured... He indicated that the army and other government agencies are identifying the attackers," the agency reports.
