OREANDA-NEWS   Several planes are heading towards Tehran after the end of the ban on flights in the airspace over Iran, according to the Flightradar24 service.

Earlier on Thursday night, the Flightradar24 service reported that the Iranian authorities had closed the airspace over the country for just over two hours amid protests, the country accepts only international flights with special permission.

Later, the Reuters news agency reported that the Iranian authorities extended until 06:30 Moscow time the closure of airspace over the country for all flights except international flights to or from Iran, which have a permit.

"After the deadline for closing Iran's airspace has expired, some planes are flying towards Tehran," the service said in a statement on the social network X.
