OREANDA-NEWS  Chairman of the Supreme Court of Russia Igor Krasnov arrived in China on a three-day visit.

Krasnov arrived in Beijing at the invitation of Chairman of the Supreme People's Court of China Zhang Jun, the press service of the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation reported.

"The visit marks an important milestone in the development of judicial cooperation. During his three-day stay in China, the head of the Supreme Court of Russia will hold a number of high-level meetings, the central event will be his dialogue with his Chinese counterpart, during which key aspects of judicial and legal partnership will be discussed," the statement said.

The parties will touch upon a wide range of topics, and it is also planned to sign a document that will give an additional impetus to Russian-Chinese cooperation in the legal field.

The Chairman of the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation will visit a number of courts of the People's Republic of China, get acquainted with the best practices of Chinese colleagues in the justice system and share the experience gained by the Russian judicial system.

One of the key topics that will be raised during the visit of the head of the Supreme Court of Russia will be the exchange of experience in the field of introducing digital technologies into the work of courts.
