The Crew Dragon spacecraft with a Roscosmos cosmonaut as part of the crew launched to the ISS

OREANDA-NEWS The Crew Dragon spacecraft with the Crew-12 mission launched to the International Space Station (ISS), a live broadcast of the launch was conducted by NASA.
The Crew-12 mission includes Roscosmos cosmonaut Andrei Fedyaev, NASA astronauts Jessica Meir and Jack Hathaway, and European Space Agency (ESA) astronaut Sophie Adeno.
The launch of the Falcon 9 launch vehicle with the Crew Dragon spacecraft was carried out from the 40th launch complex at the Cape Canaveral cosmodrome in Florida at 05:15 Eastern Coast time (at 13:15 Moscow time).
Crew Dragon is scheduled to dock with the ISS on Saturday at approximately 3:15 p.m. East Coast time (23:15 p.m. Moscow time).
The Roscosmos cosmonaut went to the ISS under a cross-flight agreement between Russia and the United States. In July 2022, as part of the ISS program, Roscosmos and NASA signed an agreement on cross-flights of Russian cosmonauts on American reusable SpaceX Crew Dragon spacecraft and American astronauts on Russian Soyuz MS manned spacecraft.
NASA astronaut Christopher Williams, Roscosmos cosmonauts Sergey Kud-Sverchkov and Sergey Mikaev are currently working on the ISS. They arrived aboard the orbital laboratory on November 27, 2025, aboard the Russian Soyuz MS-28 manned spacecraft.
