OREANDA-NEWS European countries must make a choice between Russia and the "common rules". This was stated by Finnish President Alexander Stubb, Bloomberg reports.

"Europe is facing an important decision. I urge you to make a choice between the use of force and general rules and principles," the head of state said, without naming specific countries.

Stubb added that one of the conditions for restoring Europe's relations with Russia is "a just and lasting peace in Ukraine."

On July 28, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that Russia would take a very strict approach to possible proposals from Western countries to restore relations. At the same time, according to the minister, Moscow does not seek isolation, but it is not afraid of boycotts from Western countries.
