OREANDA-NEWS   US President Donald Trump's plan for a quick victory over Iran has failed, and the American leader's next strategic plan awaits the same fate. This was stated by Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi on the social network X.

"Plan A, envisioning a quick and clean military victory, has failed, Mr. President. Your plan B will fail even more," he wrote.

Araqchi also noted that Iran considers the prospect of a nuclear deal with the United States to be lost, since "supporters of the America Last approach" have negated the significant progress made in the negotiations.

Earlier, US President Donald Trump wanted to personally participate in the election of the new leader of Iran. "I have to participate in the appointment, as in the case of [Acting President] Delcy [Rodriguez] in Venezuela," the American leader stressed.
