OREANDA-NEWS  The meeting between US President Donald Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping on the sidelines of the summit in South Korea will take place according to plan, said US Representative Jamison Greer.

"Right now, the meeting is scheduled, the time has been agreed," he said in an interview with CNBC.

At the same time, the diplomat expressed confidence that the parties will be able to resolve disputes, including those related to Beijing's recent decision to introduce new export control measures. According to him, China is "beginning to understand the need to find a different way" in trade relations with Washington.
