OREANDA-NEWS  The United States is ready to stop the expansion of the North Atlantic Alliance to Russia's borders, as Moscow's concerns on this issue are justified. This was stated by the special representative of the American leader, Keith Kellogg, in an interview with ABC News.

"We're talking to Russia: "Well, we are ready to stop the expansion of NATO to your borders." After all, this issue really concerns their safety," the special representative said.

According to Kellogg, Moscow's concerns about the expansion of the military bloc to the east are "fair." He also stressed that Ukraine's membership in NATO is not on the agenda.

Earlier, Kellogg said that US President Donald Trump and Russian leader Vladimir Putin have developed a strong personal relationship.
