The United States imposed duties on goods from the EU

OREANDA-NEWS The United States imposes duties of 20 percent on all goods from the European Union (EU). This was announced by the American President Donald Trump.
"The EU, it's very difficult to bargain with them. You think they're our friends, but they're ripping us off, which is very sad," the head of state said. During his speech, he held in his hands a table according to which EU countries already apply duties on American goods in the amount of 39 percent.
He noted that Washington imposes duties on the principle of reciprocity. At the same time, Russia is not in the Trump table.
Before that, Trump signed an executive order imposing duties of 25 percent on imports of passenger cars, light trucks and auto parts. As the head of the White House explained, such a measure is necessary to protect national security.
