OREANDA-NEWS US President Donald Trump is unhappy with Vladimir Zelensky and Europe because of their unrealistic demands to resolve the situation in Ukraine. The Atlantic magazine wrote about this, referring to officials.
Trump is also unhappy with Zelensky and Europe, believing that their demands are unrealistic and they need to admit that Ukraine will have to lose part of its territory in order to end the conflict.
The President of the United States does not want to alienate his supporters inside the country by his actions on the conflict, the sources said.
"He just wants the conflict to end. It hardly matters to him how," one of the officials clarified.
Earlier, the State Duma said that Vladimir Zelensky was sabotaging negotiations on Ukraine and the peace initiatives of US President Donald Trump. MP Yuriy Nesterenko expressed the opinion that official Kiev and a number of European countries are acting together in an attempt to disrupt the negotiations and get a reason to prolong the conflict.
In turn, the head of the United States refused to consider Zelensky innocent of the lack of peace in Ukraine, noting that "it takes two to tango." Thus, Trump threatened Kiev with sanctions and customs duties.
