OREANDA-NEWS. March 30, 2011. TNK-BP and the Yaroslavl region administration signed a General Agreement about socio-economic cooperation for 2011-2013. The document was signed by TNK-BP executive director, German Kahn, and Governor of the Yaroslavl region, Sergey Vakhrukov, reported the press-centre of TNK-BP.

The agreement stipulates that the two sides will continue their partnership in effectively delivering high-quality oil products to the region, and will also cooperate to solve socio-economic issues in order to maintain the continued stable development of the Yaroslavl region.

In particular, the agreement continues TNK-BP’s obligation to deliver fuel to governmental and municipal enterprises in the municipal-residential complex in the Yaroslavl region in order to guarantee the businesses’ activities during future cold seasons.

TNK-BP will also be obliged to provide fuel to agro-industrial businesses with a discount from market prices. This will allow agricultural work to be carried out successfully.

TNK-BP will continue its reconstruction programme at its filling stations, which, together with other projects, will create a quality and modern roadside service in the Yaroslavl region. In 2011, TNK-BP will invest more than RUR 1 billion in this programme and also in construction of a new oil-mixing plant.
