OREANDA-NEWS. The National Bank of Ukraine has requested the Ukrainian Credit Reference Bureau to verify information regarding the transfer by the financial company Fagor of bad credit records of Bank MIKHAYLIVSKIY PJSC’s depositors  to the Ukrainian Credit Reference Bureau. The move has been made in response to complaints filed by Bank MIKHAYLIVSKIY PJSC’s depositors to the NBU, claiming that the financial company Fagor has allegedly transferred bad credit records to the Ukrainian Credit Reference Bureau.

Bank MIKHAYLIVSKIY PJSC’s depositors reported that they had outstanding debt on loans taken out from Bank MIKHAYLIVSKIY PJSC. After this bank was placed under receivership, the depositors started to receive notifications from the financial company Fagor demanding that they pay off outstanding credit card balances.  Subsequently, representatives of the financial company Fagor informed Bank MIKHAYLIVSKIY PJSC’s depositors that they had transferred bad credit records to the Ukrainian Credit Reference Bureau.

However, the Deposit Guarantee Fund has repeatedly stressed that the transaction involving assignment of claims under the loan agreements of Bank MIKHAYLIVSKIY PJSC   was carried out against the Law of Ukraine On Household Deposit Guarantee System and thus was void. The financial company Fagor was notified  thereof.  Bank MIKHAYLIVSKIY PJSC remains the only eligible loan provider under earlier concluded agreements.
