The publication stated that this debt was accumulated over the past three years due to the collection of compensation for defective products.

The article also mentioned that the official representative of Apple Rus LLC had accumulated this debt as a result of court decisions regarding compensation for damages to dissatisfied users of Apple products. Some victims of defects were denied warranty repairs due to the inability to perform them due to sanctions.

On Tuesday, the newspaper Vedomosti, citing a representative of the Russian Ministry of Finance, reported that foreign companies from unfriendly countries would be allowed to return to Russia only after receiving permission from the Board of the Commission on Foreign Investment and approval from the relevant ministry.
