OREANDA-NEWS The Russian government has announced that more than 2.9 billion rubles will be allocated to provide specialized and high-tech medical care for citizens.

According to a statement on the government's official website, Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin has signed a decree allocating additional funding from the insurance reserve of the Federal Compulsory Medical Insurance Fund.

This additional funding will help maintain the accessibility of specialized and high-quality free medical care for citizens in federal medical institutions as part of the basic mandatory health insurance program.

In Russia, the basic mandatory medical insurance program offers more than 80 different types of advanced medical care, including treatments for cardiovascular, oncological, and other conditions.
