OREANDA-NEWS  Sergei Silkin, the former head coach of the Dynamo Moscow football club, revealed the amount of his pension. This is reported by Sport-Express.

According to the 64-year-old specialist, the blue and white team pays him 10,000 rubles as a veteran of the team. He receives another 30 thousand from the state as an ordinary pensioner.

"Given the rising prices, it would be very difficult to live on this money. But, thank God, I have savings. I feel good financially," Silkin said. The coach added that he drives a Toyota Land Cruiser, which he bought six years ago.

Silkin headed Dynamo from 2011 to 2012. He also played for the club as a defender from 1983 to 1989.

Earlier, three-time Olympic champion in pair figure skating and State Duma deputy Irina Rodnina said that Russians need to become independent in the matter of future pensions. She noted that "a pension is not a salary, but an old—age benefit."
