OREANDA-NEWS Salaries of Russians will grow by 4%, but the growth of real incomes will slow down. The main reason of this process is inflation. Such results of the study of consumer sentiment are given by experts of the Financial University under the government of Russia.

"The growth of real income will begin only in 2020. On a yearly basis, it may increase by at least one percent. In the optimistic version, the growth of real incomes of the population in 2020 can reach 6-7 percent", - explained Vice-Rector of the Financial University under the government of Russia Alexey Zubets.

Experts predict the level of inflation for the next two years – it will be less than four percent. Already in the second half of 2019, inflation will begin to decline. The reason is  - the reduction in consumer activity of Russians.

It is also expected that in the next two years, the population will continue to decline in interest in expensive purchases. Thus, a significant decrease in interest in the purchase of apartments and new cars was recorded in Russia at the end of last year.

In 2019, the largest economic growth should be expected in the Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol. Potential leaders in GDP growth in the country are the Amur and Samara regions, the Chechen Republic and the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia).

Earlier, Rosstat reported that in 2018, real incomes of Russians fell by 0.2%, reminds the TV channel "Tsargrad". Despite the efforts of the authorities, the population of Russia for the fifth year in a row becomes poorer.

Benefits and compensation to the disabled and veterans will be indexed by 4.3 percent from February, 1 2019. The corresponding decree was signed by Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev, according to the website of the Cabinet of Ministers

Moreover, in December 2018 the State Duma unanimously adopted a law that increases the minimum wage from the beginning of 2019 to the subsistence level - 11 280 rubles. The initiative is included in the package of documents accompanying the draft Federal Budget for 2019-2021.
