"In 2024, the ranking of the richest people in the world included a record number of Russian businessmen at that time — 125 people. And now this record is updated every year. In 2026, 155 Russians are included in the Forbes world ranking at once," the report says.
Last year, nine Russians joined the list. It is noted that this was facilitated by the weakening of the dollar against the ruble. A year ago, 80 billion rubles of capital was not enough to get into the rating, but in 2026, the fortune of businessmen with such assets already exceeds a billion dollars.
