OREANDA-NEWS   Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree banning individuals from exporting cash rubles in excess of $ 100,000 from the Russian Federation to the EAEU from April 1, with a number of exceptions, the corresponding decree is posted on the website of the official publication of legal acts.

"To establish, from April 1, 2026, a ban on the export from the Russian Federation to the member states of the Eurasian Economic Union of the cash currency of the Russian Federation by individuals in an amount exceeding the equivalent of 100 thousand US dollars and calculated at the official exchange rate of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation established on the date of export," the document says.

"...with the exception of cases when the export of such currency is carried out through air checkpoints across the state border of the Russian Federation at international airports of the Russian Federation, determined by the Government of the Russian Federation, in the presence of bank statements that are certified in accordance with the procedure established by the credit institution that issued them and confirm the withdrawal of the currency of the Russian Federation," it is added in the same place.
