Andrey Rublev dropped out of the Australian Open

OREANDA-NEWS Russian tennis player Andrey Rublev lost to Argentine Francisco Cherundolo in the third round of the Grand Slam tournament of the Australian Open in Melbourne.
The result – 6:3, 7:6 (7:4), 6:4 in favor of the South American.
In the ranking of the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP), Medvedev ranks 15th, Cherundolo 21st.
Rublev became the first Russian to withdraw from the Australian Open in men's singles. Initially, three athletes from the Russian Federation were announced; Daniil Medvedev reached the fourth round, Karen Khachanov has yet to play in the third round.
