OREANDA-NEWS  Inflation in Russia from January 31 to February 6 was 0.26%, accelerating from 0.21% a week earlier, according to Rosstat. In annual terms, inflation rose to 11.72% in a week, according to the review of the Ministry of Economy.

Among food products, prices for sausages and cheeses increased by 0.4%, for vodka — by 0.3%, for beef, sterilized milk and chicken eggs — by 0.2%. Prices for fruit and vegetable products increased by 5.1% on average, while buckwheat groats fell by 1%, pork by 0.5%, chicken meat by 0.3%, cottage cheese and table salt by 0.2%, sunflower oil, granulated sugar and rice by 0.1%.

Among non—food products, prices for toilet paper increased by 0.6%, for household soap — by 0.4%, for sanitary pads and dry pet food — by 0.2%, for washing powders - by 0.1%. Prices for baby diapers and toothpastes decreased by 0.5%.

Among the medicines, rengalin — by 0.6%, corvalol — by 0.4%, multivitamins — by 0.3%, domestic analgin — by 0.2%, levomecol — by 0.1% rose in price.

The cost of motor gasoline has hardly changed, diesel fuel has fallen by 0.2%.

Food inflation was 0.51%, in the segment of non-food products growth reached 0.02%, in the services sector prices increased by 0.21%, meanwhile, the Ministry of Economy reports in its review.
