OREANDA-NEWS Russian football player Artyom Dzyuba has announced his retirement. This is reported by RIA Novosti.

"Well, what kind of career? My career is over! Officially, we'll see. Maybe I'll play for someone else in the Russian Cup," Dzyuba said.

The 38-year-old football player is a graduate of Spartak Moscow. In addition to the red and white, during his playing career he played for Zenit, Lokomotiv, Rostov, Tom, Akron, Tula Arsenal and Turkish Adana Demispor. He played 56 matches for the Russian national team and scored 31 goals. In total, Dzyuba has 248 goals, he is the best scorer in the history of Russian football.

Earlier, commentator Dmitry Guberniev offered Dzyuba a job outside of football. He said that a football player could become a rock star.
